We've returned from a very busy week at Maastricht for the 2025 edition of the NetSci conference.

Gamal Adel gave a talk on his work on community dynamics of large scale social networks in the Temporal Networks (TENET) satellite (TENET@Netsci25). And netted himself the award of best presentation!

Frank Takes gave a lightning talk in the plenary session about the community structure in online and register-based social networks.

Eszter Bokanyi shared her work on mobility and cohesion over the life-course of a population.
Rachel de Jong talked about navigating the privacy vs. utility trade-off in network anonymization.

Finally, Yuliia Kazmina presented a poster about upward mobility in a population-scale social network, for which she won a best poster award!
