Members of PLANET-NL will be hosting and presenting during the following sessions at the upcoming EUSN2026 conference in Norrköping, Sweden. You can find the full program schedule here.
Families as networks: 12 June (OS-20)
This session adopts the view from the handbook Family as Networks, in which it is proposed that considering the family as a complex and dynamic network of relationships is a fruitful way to address and understand the heterogeneity and complexity of family relationships. This session, Families as Networks, is organized in light of this forthcoming handbook, which is expected to be released by the end of the year. All contributing authors are invited to present their chapters at the conference. Moreover, researchers studying families as networks who are not contributing to the handbook are also invited to present their work.

Population-scale social network analysis: 13 June & 14 June (OS-13)
This session will feature presentations on population-scale social network analysis enabled by population-wide administrative microdata from government registers. Presentations cover substantive applications (inequality, mobility, health), methodological advances (network construction, privacy-preserving analysis), and ethical challenges, from researchers across sociology, economics, computer science, epidemiology, and related fields. Importantly, participating will provide an opportunity for people working on population-scale research to get together, update each other on projects, and explore future opportunities.
